School Liaison Office (SLO)
The purpose of this program is to assist parents and caregivers of school age children understand the local educational opportunities and to educate school administrators, counselors and teachers on military life and its impact on military children. The School Liaison Officer (SLO) role is to ensure that military children get the best possible education regardless of where they attend school. They also act as an advocate and intermediary among the parents, the military community, and the local community.
